Lowcountry Mornings Made Big

Big Bad Breakfast Mount Pleasant serves the Lowcountry as Your Southern Scratch Diner, open seven days a week for breakfast, brunch and lunch. The BBB experience starts with genuine Southern hospitality and a menu created by James Beard Award-winning and Michelin-recommended Chef John Currence.

We crack real eggs, hand-batter our chicken and make biscuits, gravies, jams, salad dressings, hollandaise, sauces, Bloody Mary mix and JC’s Hot Sauce ourselves. Local honey, locally sourced Marsh Hen Mills Grits, Story Farm Eggs and fresh produce whenever possible bring regional flavor to the table. For lighter fare, there’s avocado toast, steel-cut oatmeal, house-made granola and yogurt, egg-white omelets, wraps and salads. Gluten-free and vegetarian options are also available; tell us your dietary needs and we’ll do our best to accommodate them.

At lunch, choose from burgers, sandwiches, our fried chicken sandwich and salads. Fresh-squeezed orange juice is made daily, and specialty coffee drinks including lattes, cappuccinos and espresso shots can start the morning right. Our pet-friendly outdoor patio is made for sunny Lowcountry mornings. Full-service breakfast and lunch catering is available for teacher appreciation meals, athletic teams, colleges, PTO meetings, showers, wedding mornings, corporate events and meetings.
